Have you noticed that National Geographic Channel in India is getting a makeover. It seems to have more India-based programmes and India-based advertisements.

Ad-da found it interesting to note that it has started using Indian actors (in this Akshay Kumar) for drawing crowds to its programme on martial-arts. Akshay Kumar appears prominently in the advertisement for 'Seven Deadly Martial Arts' programme, but, appears in the programme only at the beginning for a few minutes.

The link/advertisement on the link says -- So as Akshay Kumar takes you through each of the Seven Deadly Arts, every aspect of conventional combat seems immature and ineffective. Their secrets are elements that seem common and mundane in the everyday rush for livelihood. Patience, perseverance, self-awareness and mental toughness are tested to the extremes, and the limits that were once accepted, vanish during the rigorous training.

Sounds pretty wrong because, if you have seen any of the episodes( I saw the episode on Aikido yesterday), Akshay Kumar is present only for the first few minutes and after that he totally disappears.
